SIGHT GOES
turns off the light, my strength,
two invisible spears diamond
deafened ear, full
remote thunder and breath of the parental home;
nodes weakened muscle tone, as grizzled
oxen to the plow;
and no night glow
two wings behind my shoulders.
am a candle, I consumed during the party. Pick my wax
morning
this page will render,
how to mourn and be proud of,
how to share the last third of joy and die
slightly
the shadow of a roof light casual
posthumously, as
word.
